The Pull

Ever had a seeminly irrestibile urge to do something under other circumstances you wished you'd rather not? The popular saying crooned by a pop icon " If it makes you happy, then why the hell does it feel so bad" comes readily to mind. The hunger is insatiable but constant, leaving a bitter sweet taste. Lust, might be the closest way to describe it but even the fabled vice is lost in comparison and doesn't quite cut it. It encompases all things intellect, sex, love-hate and spirituality(even the divine are not left out).

It's common characteristic is its infectious, like a drug 'The Pull' is irresistible, it doesn't take no for an answer and your not ready to find out the alternative of not giving in. Often times in the frenzy your left with an ultimate high, often times it is quickly preceeded by an ultimate low. You strangely do and you strangeely don't. Its an emotion unparralled.

Sometimes it's a still small voice that cannot be ignored, other times it's best ignored. It can make you do the unimaginable, the daring and the plain outwright silly. Who would have thought that a man after losing and falling short on a number of occasions would still fancy he's chances for the top job (Abe Lincon), yet others decide to plot a putsch even when its common knowledge that the Gaffer 'Top Boss' knows every thought, even those hatched in secret (ask our no1 fallen angel). It is neither vice nor fortune, or it can be both. It's 'The Pull'.
